About Burnt Toast

I burn toast, metaphorically and literally.  I have six children. I overly multi-task.  Therefore I do things like burn toast. A lot.

This blog is my space to be real, to laugh, to cry, to vent.  I will commiserate, self-deprecate and tell my story.  I will be faithful, faithless and human as I know it.

We formed our family through adoption from Haiti.  All six of our children were born in that most cherished country and they range in age from 3-20.  Sometimes life's not pretty.  Sometimes it's beautiful. Sometimes it's all sorts of things, but often just plain ridiculous.
